Replay of July 18, 2019 webinar
In this webinar, you'll learn how to respond to sugar cravings from your strongest self - from the part of you that doesn't feel deprived.
When we're caught in feelings of deprivation, we're caught in a narrow space. All we can see or feel is what isn't working, all we can see or feel is the feeling of deprivation itself, all we can see or feel is the unmet needs.
When we connect with the part of us that doesn't feel deprived, we open up a space. We rest in something greater, a Love that holds us and the feeling of deprivation. We realize that other feelings and qualities are there, too - things like patience, trust, and strength.
With this approach, you can change how much sugar you eat while creating a kinder relationship with yourself. It's the bedrock of emotional resilience.
If you're wanting more hands on help, this webinar introduces ideas I teach in my class Emerge: Create a new habit. You can learn more about the class below.
*** In the webinar, I share a quote by Neil Fiore from his book, Awaken Your Strongest Self. Here's a written copy:
Regardless of what happens in life, your worth is always safe with me.
Regardless of what you can or cannot do, you are always worthwhile.
Regardless of whether you win or lose, you deserve love, pleasure, and freedom from self- criticism.
Regardless of what happens to you, you deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I will always respect my life and my body.
Regardless of who stays or who goes, I am on my side. I will never abandon you.
Regardless of how healthy or ill you become, I appreciate the effort, wisdom, and protection given me by you, my body and my spirit.
Regardless of how negative or intense your emotions, I acknowledge their validity for you, and I accept them completely. I am strong enough to be with your emotions.
Regardless of how uncomfortable others are with you, your feelings or your body, I will always accept you and remain at peace with you.
Regardless of what happens in life, and regardless of your problems, I accept you and love you completely.
Regardless of the health or weakness of my body, I can always heal my spirit.
