Now that our time with the class has ended, I want to learn more about your experience with the Listen class. I have an end of class survey for you below. Would you be willing to answer these questions about your experience?
There are three intentions behind this survey:
First, your feedback is a great help – it helps us understand what works and what doesn’t, and what we need to tweak. We need your feedback and listen to it!
I appreciate it may feel awkward to offer negative feedback and want to reassure you that there’s room in our relationship for constructive feedback. You’re welcome to talk about aspects of the course that didn’t work for you, what needs improvement, what felt wonky, or changes that can make the course even better.
Second, writing about your experience helps you integrate what you’ve learned. It’s so easy to feel lost in the busyness of life, where seemingly all our insights fall to naught. This can be so frustrating! Pausing to ‘close’ your time with the course and be with your takeaways crystallizes and grounds the insights that you’ve received.
Our third intention is to reach new people. I care about getting our materials into the hands of people who can use them. I also care that people get the help they need.
One way we help people get to know us is by sharing stories of our alumni. If you feel moved to do so, I’d be honored to have your permission to share your experience.
Reading about other people’s experiences helps new students better understand what we’re about. This helps them make informed decisions about what kind of help is best for them, whether it’s with us or someone else.
Please know that there is no pressure and you can say yes or no to this request.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We read every email, are grateful for the time you spent with us in Listen, and hope that she continues to ‘bless and keep you,’ to become a part of your inner landscape of care, support, warmth and nourishment.
With warmth, Karly and the Growing Humankindness team
