Sugar Addiction 101 free video course
When cravings overwhelm willpower - and good intentions
If you use sugar to self soothe, to numb painful emotions, or to cope with stress, you're not alone.
When life is overwhelming, we're meant to connect - within and without - to care for our nervous systems, minds, and hearts. Without a sense of 'holding' or refuge, it's easy to turn to substitutes - like sugar - to cope.
And yet when we overconsume sugar, we can be filled with so much shame.
This often leads us to try and control our cravings or control our sugar intake through will power. But control doesn't work – it only creates more stress, more anxiety, and more self blame.
This, in turn, escalates the cravings and our response to them - and around it goes!
In this four part video course, you'll learn how compassion can soften painful patterns with sugar - no matter where you are. We filmed these videos in 2016 at a beloved pond by my home, with my Australian Shepherd, Blue. Thousands of people have been touched by these videos and we're delighted to offer them again.
In this first video, you'll learn an alternative to will power – what softens sugar cravings and gives you the confidence to face them. Kindly sign up below to receive the full course and to be added to our mailing list.
