The gift on the other side of a sugar addiction
One of the biggest obstacles to healing a sugar addiction is shame. This shame filters how you see your cravings, your struggles with sugar, and your very self.
But there’s another way of seeing your relationship with sugar – what I call the deeper story.
In this video, we talk about the deeper story – what softens feelings of shame and sinks us into the mercy that surrounds our journey. With mercy, the self judgment we feel for struggling with sugar in the first place can begin to soften.
And with this mercy, we find resilience: new ways of relating to sugar, and new ways of relating to ourselves.
