At Growing Humankindness, we care about nurturing compassion in our inner and outer worlds. It’s our intention and delight to make our offerings accessible to a wide variety of people from a varied, rich tapestry of backgrounds and incomes. We also appreciate that we serve an international audience, and that exchange rates add complexity to pricing.
We aim to keep our course fees reasonable while supporting and caring for our business, our mission, and our people who labor on behalf of these offerings.
When we come together to form a group for a class, we place tremendous value on the group itself, the power of the group container, and your commitment to it. We honor the group as an important part of the healing process, and each person in the group matters, claims a space in the group, and contributes to the healing journey.
Our pricing, scholarships, and refund policies are created with these desires in mind and reflect these values.
How to request a scholarship
To support our mission, we offer scholarship opportunities. To request a scholarship, please fill out the form below. We’ll consider your request and get back to you within 3 business days.
All scholarship requests are held in confidence and respect.
Scholarships are granted on a first come, first serve basis and we consider all requests. Generally 10% of class spots are for scholarship students.
If you know that you’d like to join a class and are requesting a scholarship, it helps to let us know once registration opens.
Once you’ve been offered a scholarship (this is done by email), you have 3 days to say yes or no. This gives us time to offer your spot to another student if you decline.
If you should change your mind before the beginning of a class, for any reason, please let us know as soon as possible. This gives us the chance to offer your spot to another.
Our refund policy for scholarship students is the same as our standard refund policy.
For group classes, you may cancel a class for any reason and receive a full refund anytime prior to the class start date. Once the class begins, you can request a refund minus a $25 admin fee for the first 7 days of the class. After 7 days, we don’t offer refunds.
