Facing What Doesn't Work: How to Let Go of Food
Join us for a new, free webinar
Friends: this webinar has now passed. The recording can be found in the free welcome room of our Mighty Network. You can join the welcome room here (it's free but you'll need to create a username and password.) Once you're logged in the recording of the webinar can be found here.
At Growing Humankindness we offer insight about why we can become bonded to food, sugar and other food habits that cause us harm. This understanding - that food is driven by attachment needs for survival, security or regulation - is very helpful. It can soften the shame and judgment we feel about being stuck in food, and can deepen compassion for ourselves.
For most people, the next question is, "But how? How do I let go?"
In this free webinar we’ll be talking about the letting go and unwinding process from food. In particular, we’ll talk about facing what doesn’t work – the necessary step that softens the heart, softens our addictive impulses, and helps us let go of food habits that hurt us.
There's a way to let go of overeating without being harsh, white knuckling it or giving up - and this webinar can help you understand the way through.
We'll be meeting on Tuesday, April 2nd from 2 to 3 pm CDT. There will be learning, time for questions, as well as a brief introduction to the upcoming Emerge: Create a New Habit class, so you can see if it’s the right fit for you. The Emerge group class begins on Monday, April 15th.
Please join me for this webinar where you'll learn the 'how' of changing painful habits with food and sugar. I look forward to having you!
