A womb of healing for people who self soothe with food

Karly Randolph Pitman

I’m Karly Randolph Pitman, the founder of Growing Humankindness, and I want to warmly welcome you here.

We help people who self soothe with food or sugar and who want to nurture their well being without overeating. We offer tools from relational neuroscience, self compassion, and presence so you can gently soften overeating and sugar bingeing – and gently soften the shame you feel about your complex relationship with food.

There’s a way to soften overeating or a sugar fixation without white knuckling it or being harsh with yourself – and we can help.

The word Growing Humankindness means three things:  to grow into the fullness of our being, to foster compassion for our suffering, and to deepen our connection with ourselves and others.

No matter what you’re struggling with – whether it’s food, trauma, depression, or addiction –  there’s a deeper story that lives underneath the surface story of your struggle, and this story is both more true and more merciful.

Together, we sing this story into being. May your heart be nourished here.
