In this video, the second in my When Food is Your Mother online training, we’re going to be talking about changing how you relate to food.
Here’s why and how this helps: as I spoke about in part 1, when we change how we see – our understanding of what drives food compulsions – we experience a change of heart.
This change of heart is not a change of habit, or a change of behavior. It does not arise from the head. It’s a profound shift in our inner being that then changes how we approach ourselves, our relationship with food, and sticky, frustrating behaviors.
In short, we change how we see to change how we relate. Then, in part 3, we change how we respond, and how we grow. This is where we see the fruit of this change up on the surface in how we talk to ourselves, how we treat ourselves, and how we respond to the impulse to binge or overeat.
Enjoy!
